Key findings: AEBN induced carcinogenesis primarily within the liver by considerably impairing AMPK signaling, inducing oxidative stress, activating Akt/mTOR signaling, growing Ki-67 immunoreactivity and cyclin D1 expression, and considerably diminishing apoptosis.
